SMM had a clear vision for Festo’s Assembly Program, but the project was still missing the 3D assets needed to turn their storyboards into a finished piece. Raconteur Animation contracted our team to build the visuals and bring the planned direction to life.
Working from SMM’s storyboards, we created the 3D assets and developed a range of custom shaders to achieve the intended visual style. This included two distinct toon shaders designed to complement Festo’s branding, paired with snappy animation to keep the piece energetic and engaging.
The finished video brought SMM’s original concept into a polished 3D production that could be used across Festo’s various shows, events, and programs. The combination of custom visual development and animation gave the project the flexibility to maintain its intended style while delivering a finished piece that both SMM and Festo were happy with.
